Wow - charges made on political grounds, just like back home in Russia. More proof we are continuing on a trajectory towards becoming the new USSR.

They engaged in operations primarily intended to communicate derogatory information about Hillary Clinton, to denigrate other candidates such as Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, and to support Bernie Sanders and then-candidate Donald Trump.
Did the Russians want a Bernie Sanders versus Donald Trump match up?

I just skimmed through the indictment and I cant believe Mueller brought an indictment for this. Ticky tack stuff in a world where everyone is trying to influence everyones election. Heck, our own media, FB & Twitter does it.

Looks like the Russian may have help save our Republic.

Russians “allegedly” staged rallies both for and AGAINST Trump.

Who knows. They indicted a Russian for paying an actor to dress as Hillary in a prison jumpsuit standing in a cage.
Really????

Interesting that some of their operations started back in 2014, but Russia, Russia, Russia, AND Trump.

I'm reading it now, and notice the pejorative "interfere with election" being used instead of the more accurate "protected 1st amendment activity."
Mueller's legal theory is based on the risible fiction that "advocacy" and "interference" are synonymous; and further that "interference in an election" is a crime.
Given the dismal state of public education and the hackery that passes for government and press, Mueller's rhetoric will be accepted as a profound and righteous indictment; evidence that 17 government agencies were right on the money about "Russian collusion," etc.
Mueller is doing the typical "spread more mud" action that I come to expect from our overlords.

That’s interesting. And by BS, I mean they had no particular investment in Trump. They were playing both sides of the fence for their own ends.

I was wondering about the 1st Amendment issue too. How many non citizens interfered with our election and how much outside money poured into the US for groups to interfere in our election. Mueller will go down in history, but not in a favorable way.

Reading the indictment, it is more an indictment of universal suffrage than anything else.
"There are people on the internet, misrepresenting who they are!"
All the while we have an admitted dual citizen as POTUS, and Congress never one time discussed or concluded that dual citizen equals natural born citizen.
We have the most f'd up government on the face of the planet - "We're number one!"
