That’s not the point he was making. The law requires you to renew it only if you want to keep using it. He is asking why did they want to keep using it? What did they think they would learn over the next three months if they hadn’t learned anything from retroactively mining all his communications from the previous 10 years.
When will the committees get Comey back to testify before them? I would hope they would do this before Horowitz releases his report. Wouldn’t it make sense to force Comey’s hand before he sees how to tailor his lies to fit the IG report?
Even IF the pee story was true, does anyone for a minute believe that Trump could be blackmailed with it? This is the guy that kept on truckin’ after the p***y tape came out.

I, too, feel as though McCarthy isn’t quite putting this all together. He needs to learn something, and learn quickly, that whatever the Democrats accuse you of doing, it’s what they have already done.
They accuse Trump of being easily blackmailed by Russians, when, in fact, it is Hillary and Obama that are easily blackmailed, on account of their nefarious and illegal dealings with them (Uranium One).
They accuse the Russians of hacking the DNC, because they realize that they have been compromised, either because of a leak from Seth Rich, or because of the Amran IT group, being Pakis, and making it look like they were good guys. Maybe both happened.
There was no hack, as Buzzfeed will soon discover. There will be no “remnants” of a hacking, because there was no hacking. It has been shown that the amount of material that was sent to Wikileaks happened locally, as on a thumb drive.
One of the reasons that the Democrats have had to go this far is because they are protecting Obama from being discovered.
Please, Andrew, please figure this out. Stop believing in the innocence of Obama, the Clintons, DWS, and the DNC. They are not looking out for the good of the country, they are looking out only for themselves.
I would have an easier time of believing that the pee story was something that Bill Clinton did, which is how they came up with something so weird.

Judge Janine says there was one. Then I hear that there were 4 different judges.
It’s maddening that we don’t know squat on this.
I have no trust in the idea that this judge was free of partisan prejudice. I think he knew full well that the FISA warrant was to monitor Trump.
It’s a good question. Are renewals issued by the original Judge? It would make sense since they are familiar with particulars and that can be a good thing or a bad thing.
