You’re trying to sugar coat this. We have NO wall funding, so illegals will continue to stay here with more added.
And just paying for this spending with increased revenue isn’t good enough when we are $20T in debt. We need to pay down the debt.

uh, I never said $20T was a cap. When the debt was “only” $16T, it was unsustainable.

I hope he is, but he gave away a bargaining chip.
I’d vote for both. And more border patrol. And e-verify enforced. Whatever the cost, it will save money in the long run.
He’s running out of time though. It’s been a year without anything accomplished. It’ll take time to get everything in motion. If it’s not before the mid-terms, I think his base will lose faith.
