Trump offered a better deal than either liberals or the so-called "pride of our nation" anchor babies deserved. I really hope that no deal is reached, so that DACA protection expires for the"pride of our nation" in March and that will be the end of it.

President Trump has already offered Pelosi's people far more than he should have (a path to citizenship not only the DACA recipients but to all anchor babies brought here as children). The Democrats responded by turning down the deal because they don't want increased border security or limits on chain immigration. If the "Dreamer" anchor babies get permanently disenfranchised as a result, I'm fine with that, and the Democrats will only have their own stubborn stupidity to blame for it.
