And notice that the person who posted the other thread made up their own title so that searching the correct one would not yield a hit on a search. They’re the problem with the double-post of this article, not LibWhacker.
BenLurkin (and now artichokegrower) posted the article using the last part of the title. I posted it using the first part. The problem is the title is too long for FR’s rules. So posters have to pick and choose which part of the title to use.
I agree with using out of area/ out of state medical resources other than the department sanctioned doctors to combat the scammers.
I actually don’t care about double or triple postings....I was just providing the original thread so people can see all possible comments.

As much as I agree, Im sure they would tell us with the straightest faces imaginable and no sense of irony that they earned every penny and are simply enjoying the fruits of their service.
Youre probably right.
A similar sort of scam goes on out east. I remember reading an article here on FR about a doctor marveling at a man on the verge of retirement not claiming some sort of disability like nearly every other fellow officer had done. He was the exception that proved the rule, so to speak.
