“Nadler also said the Nunes memo “does not provide a single shred of evidence that any aspect of the Steele dossier is false or inaccurate in any way.”

You’ve gotta be fuc***g kidding me.

Try perjury and obstruction of justice.

I’d fire him and refer him for criminal prosecution and disbarment.

But that’s me.

Last week he sent a letter to the chairman of the judiciary panel, pressing for an urgent meeting with FBI Director Christopher Wray to discuss areas of concern the FBI has regarding a controversial memo that allegedly outlines surveillance violations by the U.S. government.

In other words, "We need to get our stories straight."

Oh, so its up to the Republicans to prove that Steele’s allegations are false. Brilliant!!

I would imagine that the Repubs should table the Democrat memo. The subject is obtuse enough for the general public and there is no precedent for allowing a minority opinion memo (so why establish such a precedent now). It stands as the view of the majority in the House and a minority opinion memo would confuse that status. If and when the Democrats get back in power, then they can issue memos.

If there are about 9 memos, then that is about one memo per month up through the November elections. The interarrival time could start longer and become shorter as the election looms on the calendar. The Democrats would be reeling from multiple serial blows in such a scenario.

I do not know what the Republican plan is so this is just speculative, but this is something I would consider if I had the power.

These FISA Court judges need to be exposed. They are either in the bag or clueless.

I don’t think Nadler’s speculation that Rosenstein “must have had” adequate justification is either relevant or anything but speculation anyway. If Rosenstein signed off on the Steele dossier as justification for surveillance and the FBI had no verification of any of the charges in it, he’s seriously compromised. And it shouldn’t be all that difficult to find it out, but whether anyone will tell the public is quite another question.

because it’s impossible to prove a negative. Prove that trump didn’t pay someone to piss on the beds in Russia. See you can’t do it.

Don’t take the bait. The issue is nothing in the dossier has been proven and Mueller has spent over $12M trying to find some proof.

Has that little weasel Lindsey Graham been heard from since this memo went public?

Trump is the only president in the history of western democracies who is not allowed to hire and fire agency heads. Kind of ironic for the person who made the words “you’re fired” famous.

Comey said the dossier was “unverified” in Jan. ‘17.
But he’s a proven liar so...

Which way is a poor moonbat to spin these days?

The key here is, many known, importatnt, facts pertaining to the dossier were withheld from the FISA application, which is, in itself, a crime. Let’s just start there.

SO . . . I don’t think we ought to all be saying “Look, no evidence!” That’s because there probably WILL be evidence of some sort of collusion . . . be it actual evidence of some minor nefarious contact or completely manufactured evidence from the FBI’s evidence machine.

We need to be prepared to go on the offensive and say, so what? It is not illegal and it had no bearing on the outcome of the election. (Besides, we didn’t INTEND to violate any non-contact laws!)

Chuck Grassley beat the little creep into admitting there’s a problem. Grassley (and Linda) want to release the Senate Judiciary memo that caused them to refer Christopher Steele to the DOJ for prosecution.

Nadler is and ALWAYS HAS BEEN an IDIOT! Just because he finally managed to lose some weight, so that now, his footfall, no longer shakes sidewalks, in NYC, a mile away, doesn’t mean that by losing all that fat, he gained any brain function.
