Agree. And incidentally, the decision to release the memo is a “if there is no disagreement” from the Executive. Thus the House, with its 200 plus members having read the memo- the HPSCI will release the original memo.

You think Wray agrees with that— or do the exposed have pals in the “press office”. I think the latter- this is like coming from some “counter” government. That “press office” is ultimately under the direction of the Chief Executive.
Wray hasn't done anything to make me trust him. As far as I'm concerned, until he says otherwise, he endorses that press release.
If he has rouges in the press office, it's his issue to deal with, and he personally bears the burden.

A valid point. I thought about who could conceivably prosecute the criminals involved. And the answer is nobody. The FBI can't do it. Congress certainly can't do it. The press is on the side of the criminals. So it is up to all of us and our president to make sure the right people are supported and promoted so this doesn't happen again. It pains me to think the American experiment could end because both parties decided that a banana republic would be better. One party has to be better than that, and that party is our party.
