I’ve read conflicting info about that concern.

I dont take K2 either.

I do however take a host of other vitamins including iodine, selenium, and B12.

You are taking the right things.

I’m 67 and walk every day, too. Time waits on no one and it is good to at least fend it off.

I have five highly placed sources who tell me it is a genetically modified virus.

The current flu strain that is going around right now? Genetically modified by whom, Monsanto or somebody?

This is a genuinely ridiculous conversation to be having. There is nothing genetically modified (by humans at least) about H1N1.

The hospital may have given him a streptococcus, but they did not give him the flu by poor housekeeping.

Thats not how this works...

The ER is not where you want to hang out these days. But if you have flu syntoms do this: Most hospitals have hand sanitizers available at most front doors. Most have face masks that you can wear.

SMART people working near these areas of the hospital are santizing their hands every time they enter or leave a room. And they are wearing their masks—even if they got a vaccination.

This strain is virulent to the elderly and the young. Keep your hands clean and away from your face, and the chances of a heathy person getting it are pretty slim.

Yes. If you have sepsis, by all means try a home remedy. And when you discover that home remedies suck, stay away from our hospital.

Most hospitals want to keep their mortality rate low.

Sepsis is one of those things you don’t even want to think about.

That’s excellent. I hear that.

My dad is the model citizen and has set the example for me to follow. He works 5 days a week, getting up at 3AM to get to work by 4AM and is done around 1:00. On top of that, he plays racquetball at least twice during the week and then all weekend long.

I’m not kidding when I say he usually whips guys half his age or younger, and frankly, is a legend at the gym he goes to.

My dad will be 84 this year.

If I’m half as active when I’m his age, I’ll be thrilled.

You didn’t read the article. This is not a home remedy—this being done in many hospitals but doctors must be open to consider Dr. Marik’s remedy. Start googling and you’l find tons where Dr. Marik is saving patients that normally would die.

If you are in a position to influence treatment for very ill patients, I hope you will keep an open mind and educate yourself as much as possible on this life-saving treatment. I fear someone I love will get sick and because of the inflexibility of the doctor, they will not try this safe, effect, and cheap remedy. It shows great promise.

I did not read the whole thing. Then.

I’ve read through the abstract now. The only issue I have is with the criteria for inclusion. My personal experience with Sepsis is through elderly relatives related to UTIs that have gone undiagnosed for too long.

Based on the “patient” limits, they would not have been included in the test—mostly because they were too old, with other issues—and therefore ANY treatment was kind of a hail mary.

That said, the numbers don’t lie. For an otherwise healthy person (or as healthy as a septic person could be! ha ha) the treatment looks valid.

I apologize for being a smart ass.

I work with a lot of foreigners and I just had to explain what “BFE” means, with the B being either Bum or Butt.

Surprisingly hard to articulate the concept.

Ghandhi and Hadji really wanted to know what we had against Egypt. Finally I just said it is a horrible place and no one would ever want to go there.

I hope I did not offend somebody!

Thank you, I don’t care about that—I care about saving lives and this treatment looks promising and it is safe, cheap and effective.

Colloidal Silver is a big deal in my house.

I spray it on the back of my throat and gargle it when I feel a cold coming on.

I also use it on cuts on the paws of my dogs.

I make it myself. It’s just too easy.

Anybody want info, just pm me.

For what it’s worth, I am a huge fan of Vit C. Many years ago, I CURED my RA with massive doses of Vit C and the RA was diagnosed through blood. I haven’t had it in years but now I have sciatica in my left hip and the only pain management I use is Ester C. Take as necessary for pain.

Are you taking it in pill form? Doesn’t that give you an acidy feedback?

I know the few times I did Vit C I ate as many tums as I did vitamins.

From your link:

"...What the Science Says About the Safety and Side Effects of Colloidal Silver ◾Colloidal silver can cause serious side effects. The most common is argyria, a bluish-gray discoloration of the skin, which is usually permanent. ...

Um, no. This is not accurate.

The thing that causes argyria (blue discoloring of the skin) is not CS itself but contaminants present when CS is made.

Some folks, to save money, use CS made from .999 grade silver (three 9s). That other .001 can be anything. Lead, for instance. That's because that grade of silver is not meant to be ingested. It is jewelry-grade. The goal of that grade is to be ductile and easily shaped/formed into jewelry.

CS should only be made from .9999 silver (with four 9s). This is medical-grade. It is more expensive by far.

Also, some folks put salt in the water when they make CS, to increase conductivity. I think salt speeds up the process. But the thing is, the Cl in NaCl is a contaminant, because the Cl readily binds with the silver, forming some compound we don't want.

The subtext of that FAQ page seems to be "Stick with Big Pharma; they know what's best".
