Reluctant to run? I don’t think so. The man is 70 and is willing to spend 6 of his remaining years of life in the minority. These people would rather do that than guess what? Look at Fienstein-85? Long commutes across country.

Evan Jenkins wants to stand with Mitch McConnell and the Bush League Republicans for amnesty.

Manchin does a lot of talking but never follows through.
I could summon up some respect for the senator if he jumped to the GOP.

Furthermore, there’s nothing stopping Senator Manchin from taking to the floor of the U.S. Senate “to vent his feelings.”
I’m willing to wager that Manchin’s venting would be better and more widely received than Senator Flake’s.

Old fart here, reporting for duty. At one time, at least in the South anyway, the only choice was between a liberal democrat and a somewhat conservative democrat. The Republicans usually ran a candidate but it was of little consequence. When the Dems ran McGovern for president that was certainly the beginning of the end.
I still remained a Democrat for more than 25 years, voting for the most unelectable Dem in the primaries and then voting for the Pubbie in the General. When the Clintons came along, I could no longer stand the shame of identifying myself as a Democrat at the polls. Plus the Dems were already putting forth the dregs as candidates anyway.

I have no idea. I don't particularly care, either. President Hillary Clinton more or less cured me of any interest in polls.
I'm more interested in whether or not the State or National GOP will support Morrisey. They have a nasty habit of stabbing the Peoples' choice in the back, when the McTurtleite doesn't get nominated. Patrick Morrisey has won statewide elections. The GOPe candidate has not.
