Looks like DACA will be law in a month or two.

With nothing, DACA would disappear. Now, dems get a vote.

Since repubs run the house and senate, they decide what gets on the agenda for vote. This is perhaps the most powerful aspect of being speaker of the house - setting the agenda.

Now, dems got what they want, at least, on the agenda when it just had to be ignored before.

There are enough rinos out there to get DACA through.
