I can remember when college professors wore coat and tie and looked like professionals, or it was their career.

As most are these days, the prof is probably a left-wing moonbat. Seems pretty normal behavior for them. (I assume the toboggan is the type of cap, and not an actual sled.)
To: DFG
I need a photo..... How does one wear a toboggan?

He was wearing a sled? That’s unusual.

I predict they’ll make that wingnut Professor Emeritus of Islamic studies. I’ll bet $20 on it!

Yes, exactly right. I went to all my colleges in the 70’s and 90’s. Even in the 90’s dress codes were relaxing...I remember looking at a professor’s knobby knees and thinking, “I wonder if he thinks they are attractive or if he even cares?”

That’s what southerners call a knit beanie.

A Muslim convert on drugs maybe? Wonder what his social media says.

Ha ha ha... Thanks. I live in the South but never heard that term. But Florida really isn’t the South.

“Toboggan” is the usually-Canadian term for a long woolen knit cap. When I was a kid in Erie, PA, we called it a “toboggan” but then we’re pretty close to Canada.

for those of you in Rio Linde, a toboggan is a knit cap. A navy watch cap is a toboggan

Yeah, and then we will know how seriously those teacher evaluations are that they hand out to the students at the end of the semester.

This is what the “professor” said when asked about his weird behavior:
“I’m a Muslim.”
