What is the poverty threshold?
CA has the largest homeless population by far. If you live on the street, you live with a great climate, not knee deep snow.

True dat! With the recent legalization of marijuana in California, I expect a gradual migration of very undesirable Mary Jane street people from other less weather-friendly locales such as Colorado. That will be good for those other locations but not so good for California.
But hey, their public employee pension system is in fabulous shape, as sound as Venezuela’s.
Yep...the three insane COW states. Run by imbecilic dims. Spoken by a native resident in USSR-WA.
Many images of California homeless.

Venezuela on steroids.
A Socialist Nirvana.. We welcome all comers here,, except more Northeastern politico carpetbaggers. The list is long and growing.. and so is the list of those moving out of state.

Here they are at a rally!
Actually I admire the people you show in the photo for their honesty. They were explicit with this back in the 1940s/50s. But now, they have all gone within the folds of the Democrat party, and have cleverly camouflaged their rhetoric. It is no longer this obvious....
60 years or so ago, Kalifornia was luring folks to move there with free college and other perks...they succeeded in becoming a welfare-driven State and can’t tax the productive folks enough to stay in business....it ain’t gonna get better under current circumstances. Stopping illegals will do wonders for many local economies ....
The poverty rate in California is higher than that in Mississippi. Think about that.
