One huge problem with the politics of resentment is that by the time retribution begins, the perpetrators are no longer the target - the innocent are.
Case in point: Affirmative Action! This is still the law of the land, even though we had a black President! If electing a black President doesn't prove that America, as a whole, is NOT racist, then what the hell will it take?!?
Even worse? Most idiots don't realize that there will ALWAYS BE RACISM in the world! You do NOT change people's hearts by giving preferential treatment to people of a particular race (regardless of slavery-connections) over people of different races (regardless of slavery-connections)!! The very laws designed to "end racism" CREATES HATE and racism! These laws create MORE disdain for the Federally-backed privileged (because all black Americans are oppressed) by those who are NOW being treated with Federally-backed bigotry (because all non-black Americans are racist)!!
Think about it like this: an Italian family and a South African family legally immigrate to America in 1977. In 1997, both have American-born children. In 2015 (while we had a black President), the South African immigrant children would have been given preferential access to colleges, college funds, Federal jobs and many other benefits, over the Italian immigrant children! Does that make sense to the Italian immigrant family? What do those immigrants have to do with "systemic racism" of the United States from it's founding to today? Oh that's right - THEY ARE WHITE!!
Funny, that sounds suspiciously like "systemic racism", doesn't it?

That's because it is.
Slavery was (and is) horrible, and unconscionable. Nothing we do now can undo what happened before 1865 - or help the very people who suffered under slavery. It's been ~153 years since the last slave was freed in the US. The more important issue is how can American blacks best succeed now.
Blaming 21st century ‘whites’, as a ‘group’ for what happened 153 years ago, is wrong and helps no one. The majority of the American ‘white’ population trace to post-civil war immigration.
Most who are characterized as ‘white’ and who are over 50 yrs old have seen at some point in their lifetime white racism, but they've also witnessed an incredible transformation of society, and few now see or hear overt racism from whites against blacks. This doesn't mean that covert racism doesn't still exist. I'm sure that it does, but it is illegal to discriminate on the basis of race, and the vast majority of whites in America do not and would not allow or accept racism. We should be working together to make the country stronger for everyone - not pointing fingers and fanning the flames of resentment.

How likely would it be for a course to be approved that had “black racism” as a subject?

When did schools become a showcase for mental patients and their soap box rantings? Why would anyone pay to be told their race is evil and must be eliminated? Why does the school allow this?

Ted Thornhill could be Roger Thornhill’s illegitimate son (by his black housekeeper).
