I don’t share sundances conclusions that this is the end games for the deep state.

It's a nice hope, but I think that corruption will remain. We can put a dent in it and some sonsofbitches may go to jail.

I hope.

This article is a must read,

How NSA Director Mike Rogers Saved The U.S. From a Massive Constitutional Crisis… | The Last Refuge

Key excerpt- “Obama’s political operatives within the DOJ-NSD were using FISA 702(17) surveillance “about inquiries” that would deliver email and phone communication for U.S. people (Trump campaign). The NSD unit was working in coordination with the FBI Counterintelligence Unit (Peter Strzok etc.). In an effort to stop the activity NSA Director Mike Rogers initiated a full 702 compliance review. However, before the review was complete the DOJ-NSD had enough information for their unlawful FISA warrant which worked retroactively to make the prior FBI surveillance (began in July ’16 per James Comey) lawful. Rogers stopped the process on October 26th 2016. As a result of his not going along, Rogers became a risk; Clapper demanded he be fired.
Ten days after the election, November 17th 2016, Admiral Rogers travels to Trump Tower without telling ODNI James Clapper. Rogers likely informs President-elect Trump of the prior activity by the FBI and DOJ, including the probability that all of Trump Tower’s email and phone communication was being collected.
The transition team was set up in Trump Tower. The very next day, November 18th 2016, Trump moves the entire transition team to Bedminister New Jersey.”

I don't agree we are anywhere close to actually ending the deep state, either. But with all respect, I don't see where the Treehouse reached that conclusion. Here is the last sentence of the extremely lengthy Rogers article referenced above, and throughout the thread:

"This is why Chairman Devin Nunes is currently gathering evidence."

You should compare Rush to what we had prior. We had William F. Buckley with National Review and Firing Line (which used to put me to sleep), and that was about it.

Now we have (still have a network), Fox, and an excellent set of talk show hosts, many of whom started their national career subbing for Rush.

Yes, Rush has gone off the rails once in a while. His crap with Sandra Fluke nearly cost him his show and his thinly-masked hatred towards Trump (because he hurt Cruz’s feelings) towards the end of the Primary season lost him a lot of listeners, but Rush is the FIRST PERSON that I know of who figured out why the GOPe stopped answering to its base (specifically on immigration)...and that was because the MONEY for the GOP was flowing in from Open Borders types - that simple. Before that, we were all scratching our heads (including Rush) trying to figure out why the Republicans were literally ready to commit national suicide (with us screaming at them to stop) by legalizing 30 million new Democrat voters...Rush finally put the pieces together...and THANK GOD - at least we understand what the problem was, and still is - and now we’re working on fixing it, thanks to Trump.

“I continue to believe that what happened in LV was designed to cause another crisis for Trump’s presidency.”

And I wonder if DJT’s EO is subtley directed towards the conspirators..

It was political in nature.

We don’t know the details, someday perhaps we will.

Thanks for the ping.

An honorable man, who saved our country from being run by another Clinton and Obama’s cabal of thugs in the CIA/DOJ/FBI.

If he had not warned President Elect Trump last November after the election of the illegal surveillance on Mr Trump, we might now be a true banana belt country.

Admiral Mike may the rest of your life have “Fair winds and following seas”!

When did Trump tweet that he was being wire tapped? After the visit?

Mike Rogers is only 58 and has only been NSA director for 4 tears. His retirement looks fishy to me. Does the Deep State figure they can force DJT to appoint someone who is vastly inferior to Mike Rogers?

Whats the bald head stooge McMasters going to do to sabotage this new NSA appointment? IOW I am worried.

“Did NSA Director Mike Rogers wait for a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) to be set up in Trump Tower, and then notify the President-elect he was being monitored by President Obama?”

….Seems likely.

That is probably a very safe bet and a wise move by the Admiral.

Rogers should receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom with Distinction for the job he has done to halt the march of the Deep State.

Perhaps in the future. We'll see if America's elites and leftist academics allow the nation to talk about this part of history.

Yes. They post his teeet in the article, so you can see it. The only key assumption is what Rogers specifically said. He writer supposed (and I think rightly) that he told trump about the illegal surveillance in trump tower.

Hard to believe that a good man like Rogers was once a NSA appointee in the Obama administration. But I must hand it to the Obama administration: once they found out he was a good man they tried to fire him.

Typically, NSA Directors serve for 3-4 years. Rogers has 30+ years in the military. He’s due to retire. Nothing fishy about it.

Rogers was a computer and cyber warfare geek, and worked for the Joint Chiefs. Guys like that in the military seem pretty cagey about their political views.
