North Korea has been an ally of the Syrian government for decades. North Korea built a nuclear reactor for the Syrian government about 10 years ago. The Israelis destroyed it with an airstrike. North Korea has also helped the Syrian government with a missile program. It’s not only “bad news for” the U.S.A. It’s bad for everyone.
