I must admit, after reading the various comments by Graham in this thread, I had to go back to the top to make sure it wasn't a spoof or satire thread!
But... You make a good point. Senator Graham could actually be a fairly important Trump ally. Possibly Trump's thumping of Graham "he beat me like a drum" or "the American people spoke. They rejected my analysis", added to the "reflectiveness" that surely might have arrived with watching one's friend slowly die in front of them...
