I was a big U2 fan in high school. Cracks started to show with Rattle and Hum, though the leftover songs from the Joshua Tree sessions were pretty good. Great unease set in with the single release of their awful industrial cover of Cole Porter’s Night and Day. And then Achtung Bany dropped and I was done with them forever.
