Is Virginia Turning Blue?

As I see it: The population centers are very blue these days, those who read the dark blue newspapers, but the rest of Virginia is red.

1) Break Virginia up into two states
2) Give Northern Virginia to Maryland

It's not just a North-South divide.

Southeastern Virginia is also trending Democrat.

Interesting that a lot of Northern Virginia is still Republican and Trump Country.

It's just that the most populous counties go Democrat and can drive the state in that direction.

Virginia, sure, but maybe not Florida. Northern Florida is still strongly Republican, and the middle of the state is recoverable. I guess a lot depends on how the Cuban vote in the South goes.

If the feds hadn’t given Arlington back to Virginia, Robert E. Lee wouldn’t have been a Virginian and it would have saved the country a lot of trouble.

You might want to think that one through. Lee was a ok general, but he was village idiot compared to Stonewall Jackson. Very likely Jackson would have ended up in charge if Lee had been on the Union side. The war would not have gone well for the Union.

Lee had gravitas or dignitas or some quality that made soldiers follow him even if he made bad decisions.

Other generals may have been better at tactics, but didn't have that personal leadership quality, and if they happened to make a mistake it would be harder for them to recover.

African-Americans vote for Democrats out of cultural peer pressure.

A lovely Black lady is now in charge of the Heritage Foundation. Maybe her success and outreach will help other Blacks break free of the Dem Plantation.

The problem is the Democrats will have control of all the major EC vote states. Teas will take a little longer but the Spanish vote there is increasing faster than the Sane vote due to different birth rates and to the Feds having pushed a lot of third worlders into Texas with their very high birth rates.

The Venezuelans cannot become citizens soon enough to keep the Puerto Ricans from giving FL’s ECs to the Democrat and, with Virginia, giving the country finally to the Marxist Democrats and their Republican allies. And it will be finally. We are to that point where we have to win ALL the contests. If we lose one it will be final.
