Even better would be to scrap the European Union.
About 17 years ago I heard Larry Kudlow call the Euro the Europeso.

If Germany exits the EU (the euro is mostly propped up by the German economy) and goes back to the Deutsche Mark, how many divisions is Brussels going to send across the Rhine?

the EU superstate is the child of Germany and France’s elite/globalist/socialists. Its based in “neutral” territory of Brussels.
As a tourist Euros are preferable.
Switching to the D-mark would weaken the German export market but it would make the rest of Europe using the weaker Euro more competitive.
And that is what the sheeple in the other countries think...
But the silly German peasants, as if they even think they'll get a vote on bringing the DM back. :^)
