I used to consider Subway for lunch.... then Subway began to suck up to the Obama administration.

That was essentially the end of my relationship with Subway.

I had a Subway card where you accumulate points for dollars spent. A free inexpensive hoagie was 75 points. I accumulated about 150 points at a local Subway. When our office moved to the next town over, I went to the local Subway there, and tried to use the "Subway" points for a free hoagie. After the hoagie was made, I went to the cashier to "pay". When I handed him the card, he swiped it and then said he would not honor the points because they were earned at a different Subway.

After some back and forth, I flipped the hoagie onto the counter and told him to keep it. Only then did he relent. I've never been back.

I went back in October to a Subway, tried their chicken sub, half, while the chicken is good, if you want more chicken meat,you had paid 75 cents more. Not surprised that there is a growing revolt.

It’s not that hard to figure out... people of either party would react the same way.

Subway doesn’t give a damn about the profit margin of their franchises. They care only about customer counts and the top line....because their royalties and fees are based on total sales numbers, not operating margins. Owning a franchise is a tough row to hoe for this reason.

My son worked at Subway in High School. His clothing reeked and so did he. I swear it came out of his pores. I could never eat at Subway after that. Disgusting!
