Watch MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” for a single day.
You will witness the most horrid smugness and snobbery anywhere outside the Harvard Club, all of it shot through with the wit and wisdom of Whoopi Goldberg breaking wind on the couch of The View.
Mika considers herself American Royalty owing to her father’s (disastrous) service as Carter’s secretary of state (her brothers have also been government toadies of one sort or another), and Joe, like any desperate striver, basks in the warmish shadow of her glow.
The rest of the cast are dopes and bootlickers. The guests are of a single stripe: wannabe elitists. Of course they all hate President Trump, and people like you and me.
Mika and Joe are like the desperate hopefuls in the real estate section of the Times, who need to have photos of their newly refurbished homes splashed across three or four pages, apparently to make it real for them.
Mika and Joe do the same thing with their new marriage, their little winks and pokes and sticky expressions of what they think is love at the highest level. Gag.
I didn’t realize that they had married. I haven’t watched the news in so many years and have never seen a reason to change that habit. Thanks for the info and update!
I have stopped watching the show and most others myself.
They were married late this past summer, I would say.
They were seen everywhere together, flights to the Hamptons, etc., just to make it especially public...and hurtful to their families.
What a toxic pair.
Were they both married when they started their affair? In light of all of the sex scandal revelations will adultery be considered the next big scandal? Nah.
Yes, in fact they were.
And they were as obvious & giggly about it as schoolkids, just as they are about everything else.
Worse still, Scarborough has children, one who has learning disabilities and another some kind of fairly serious health issues, I think (I could be conflating the two).
Horrid Mika’s daughters I don’t even want to think about, other than she used to worry aloud, on and on, that they were eating too much. Very helpful.
