short of going full Islam, we can never stop it.
Men taking advantage of women, looks like a huge put down.. making sure she knows who has the upper hand.. who is superior, and who calls the shots. It’s a slam to insult a woman by doing anything without her permission.
And some women egg it on.
Short answer is “No”, because the definition of harassment can vary from person to person. “No” because many people, both men and women see certain sexually related communication as a form of flirting. How are you going to let someone know you’re interested in them if all venues of romance have been either roadblocked or destroyed due to what someone, somewhere might presume?
I’m not talking about violent or disrespectful treatment at all.
If this attitude prevails, I expect to see American made burkas becoming fashionable ‘for the sensible lady’.
Then, we will have gone full circle, from halter tops and mini-skirts back to petticoats, bustles and downcast eyes while in public.

My husband and I often have a conversation about why men seek power. He thinks it is because they want power for power’s sake and I think they want power for the sake of having sexual power. We were a corporate family for many years and I was brought into contact with powerful men a lot in social situations. I observed the change in some of the women who worked for that company when a man was promoted to a high office. A few became aggressive when greeting the man. Now, it was not just a smile and a “Hi,” it was a hug. A few men had affairs but, in those days most men were married with families and the sexual revolution was not yet full blown. We also lived in a small community where secrets were hard to keep. There was a definite change in every way when the baby boomers began to move into important jobs effecting the lives of a lot of people. Whereas, before, the company considered the effect of it’s policies on the lives of their employees. Now, ruthlessness was beginning to be practiced and the employee was becoming more and more just a number. The breakdown had begun and now we have all this immorality and division running rampant in our culture. My Dad, at the end of his very long life declared that the next big war would be between the men and the women. Maybe he was right.
Since the dawn of time men were programmed to pursue women. That hasn’t changed. What has changed is that this natural instinct is suddenly seen as a perversity and men are evil for having a sex drive.
Lol. Maybe you should look in the mirror. Who is being defeatist? You openly embrace left wing terminology and anti-American and anti-Christian values, yet you can’t stop patting yourself on the back. Twenty years ago, even communists wouldn’t openly talk like you. How are you fighting them at all, when you are embracing their lifestyle so fully?
The situation with the woman accusing Matt Lauer is strange. According to her story, he told her to do some things and she just went along like a hypnosis subject, including having sex with him in his office. It's hard to see why she could do nothing to avoid that.
