Townhall again?
Some members of Bernie’s Stalinist Sect won legislative seats in Virginia for the Democrats under his Communist front group, “Our Revolution.”
It's the Republican Party that is dead. The base killed it and is now trying to reconstruct it after slaying the thin globalist layer that co-opted it.
They’re only dead if we stop letting people like Cruz, Levin, and others give them a lifeline by effectively supporting Democrats, such as Hillary, at least during the Convention and for some time after.
Sure would be nice if people like them, who do have conservative credentials, actually learned to control their petty grievances and think about the country’s future a bit more often.
I would say that, after 2010, 2014, and 2016 they are seriously wounded but that just makes them all the more dangerous.
Levin is a Free Traitor and is not a Conservative in my opinion. He is a liberation and a globalist. The opposite of a Conservative. Cruz is a tiny bit better, but not much.
liberation = Libertarean
"...learned to control their petty grievances..."
Yea, you can make that case about Levin. I only said as much because he certainly sounded as if he supported most of our value...at least until he went all-in for Hillary.
It's a good resource for finding the latest opinion pieces from a variety of columnists without having to scour the Internet. Also it doesn't have to be excerpted so you can read the entire column without having to click on a link to follow it. Is there something wrong with that?
Wishful thinking. Whatever their intramural squabbles Dems are all progressives.
OTOH, the GOP is divided into camps with diametrically opposed agendas. The open borders progressive corportists and America First MAGA wings of the GOP simply have no common ground. Now it is clear that the GOPe prefers progressive Democrats and their policies to Trump voting base voters. If any party is in trouble it is the GOP, IMO.
“Exactly. We need to learn how to circle the wagons like our leftwinger opposition.”
I was just reading a comment on Townhall that was so good that I could have written it, but I didn’t.
The bottom line is that WE ELECT MOORE regardless of what we think and even regardless of whether they come up with REAL EVIDENCE, like police reports or payoffs. Once elected, if it can be proven that he really is a monster (which I seriously doubt, or they would have produced that proof), then kick him out of the Senate and let Governor Ivey at least replace him with a Republican.
In other words, we don’t even have to go to the wall like the Democrats did for Clinton, but we MUST keep that seat REPUBLICAN, as whoever is in that seat may well be the 50th vote for at least one, possibly up to 3 Supreme Court Justices.
The country SHOULD NOT BE PUNISHED because of Moore...maybe Moore should be punished (assuming they somehow find some real evidence), but THE COUNTRY does not deserve to also be punished...it simply is not our fault, or even the fault of the voters in Alabama, since the Washington Post sat on this story until AFTER the primary.
Not even close.
Sex scandals should be in the forefront. Maybe the old geezers will retire. Most of them are rats-a good way to drain the swamp.
The Democrats always come back from the brink. Sometimes the Republicans help them.
As long as we don’t give away seats to the Democrats I’m fine with cleaning out the Republican trash, like Joe Barton today.
If it weren't for TRUMP, Hillary would be POTUS right now & maybe control of the Senate
I wish we would stop referring to the democrat party as the democratic party. The democrat party does not even truely belive in democracy. In fact referring to them as the socialisr or communist party world be closer to thier ideology.
The Dems are stronger than the sorryassed Grand Old Pussies party
