My ironclad rule for every BBQ, party, and invite including the biggest Thanksgivings is drop your religion and politics at the front door.
There is so much to talk about other than these two fire starters. While the two can be touched upon, go lightly, very, very lightly.
People have forgotten how to converse and frankly, the continued blather over politics is decidedly annoying for everyone. It isn’t clever or fun, and marks one as a bore.
I’m pretty certain that David Graham lives in an echo chamber. He won’t be getting any dissenting views to debate at his all-goofball Thanksgiving dinner.
