Yep - lots of resistance because folks have become addicted to things so they will fight to stop any progress that doesn’t personally help them short term - and then they wonder why the RINOs can’t get anything done....

Never fear. McCain, Corker, Flake, Murkowski and Collins will kill it.

I hadn’t heard about the endowment tax. Interesting how that is not making much news.

It ain’t double taxation, you just payed less in federal taxes than the rest of us because you deduced your ubsurdly high state taxes.

It’s time you and all the other bluestate deadbeats start paying the exact same rate as everyone else.
If you got a beef with your taxes being too high we agree with you. Eyther take it up with your leglsiative other move to our state.

In defeat of course, Collins, McCain, and snow can’t allow a victory even if it cost them their jobs in the end. That’s why they want judge Moore to lose. It gives one of them the chance to vote for the bill and maybe not lose their job.
Until then they will play for time making everyone think they might vote for it. To run out the clock. Instead of nailing them for their blind opposition.

(federal)Taxpayers should not be subsidizing reckless financial behavior at the state level.

I'd wouldn't worry though. Juan and gang will vote tax relief down.
