Only a misdemeanor in Alabama?
1st and 2nd degree are felonies 3rd degree misdemeanor. I could not find an election fraud statute that I thought might be applicable,(other than conspiracy to defraud the US a catch all and imo innaplicable) then again I am not an attorney..
defamation is a civil charge in the us.
if it can be proven allred knew sig was fraudulent big problems how many copies did she hand out at the press conference?
methinks in here zealous rush to get this out there allred failed to investigate her clients claim and have the document verified. I think the two colors were not visible to the naked eye but showed up under a camera filter..if they were visible to the naked eye, serious problem for allred and beverly.
will allred dump beverly? will beverly dump on allred? stay tuned for the next episode of stupid is as stupid does...
it will be interesting if allred stays with beverly nelson or dumps her....allred said if no senate hearing Beverly would answer questions in another public forum 2 weeks after the original press conference...tick tock...
I suspect allred has already contacted a criminal attorney for guidance and probably had a questioned document examiner look at the yearbook since the two colors and D>A> came to light.
what is best for beverly may not be best for allred-conflict? Beverly imo should give serious thought to making a retraction and mea culpable plea...she doesn’t have millions to lose, but Allred does. Interesting to find out if money was offered...

Somebody hacked the restaurant photo in that review. Google Maps claims to be unable to find the address given.
However, there was indeed an Olde Hickory House in Gadsden in the alleged timeframe, at either 207 or 307 E Meighan Blvd. Here are three ads for it found in the Google archive of the Gadsden Times bracketing the alleged date:
1977-12-19, page 7 Link |
1978-01-02, page 12 Link |
1978-01-09, page 4 Link |
In 2014, there was a Shoney's at 207 E Meighan Blvd. At 307, there is a building that houses a medical practice next door to a Rally's drive-thru.
That’s a great point.
I’ll repeat it to those who responded to this thread:
Allowing that the stopping point is Ray, the two lines add up to poetry, as one comment pointed out.

Not only is the additional text a forgery, but the main text only makes sense if was signed by somebody called RAY. Its a poem, hence the convoluted word order.
To a sweeter, more beautiful girl I could not say,
Merry Christmas. Love, Ray
Is there a Ray listed in the yearbook?
1977-12-19, page 7
Dear Abby, “She’s too young...”?
but more interesting is the ad on page 3, advertising a visit from Ole Santa.
You have to wonder about Gloria
DOES ANYONE REALLY BELIEVE SOME POOR MEXICAN REALLY RAPED HER IN ACAPULCO IN 1966
Beverly Young is listed here, and so is Ray Brooks. Both in the Southside High School Class of 1979.

Ray Lasseter Brooks is listed in his father’s obit. His father was once the quarterback of the Southside High football team. Ray now lives in Birmingham and his birthdate is Sep 2, 1961 (just a few months older than Beverly Nelson).

beverly went to southside high in 1976 1977 and transferred to gadsden likely september 1977. If the yearbook was signed Christmas 1977 it probably wasn’t by her regular boyfriend who would have likely signed it sooner. If it was by someone she knew before she transferred possible talked to him and he dropped by to sign it after they talked...so Ray Brooks is a possibility imo. would be interesting if someone interviewed him. and of course what was the name of her boyfriend who was going to pick her up from work at 10p.m. what can he remember?
supposedly a mexican doctor...and she had an abortion..um hum yeah that’s the ticket!
but more interesting is the ad on page 3, advertising a visit from Ole Santa.
LOL! "There will be Cokes, candy, cookies and our Hospitality Girls and a visit from Ole Santa."
Love the bankers' hours, 9-1, except 3-5 on Fridays. Hopefully, those no longer fly in Gadsden!
As for the ad, I'm reminded of the airline ads from the day. The stews back then were way hotter!
lol
“I turned 16 on November 14, 1977. About a month later I received my yearbook from Southside high school where I had spent my freshman and sophomore years. I happened to bring my yearbook to work with me to the restaurant on December 22, 1977. “
So she was class of ‘79, like Ray Brooks. He probably wasn’t her boyfriend, but is likely the person that signed her book.
I wonder why she worked at a restaurant over 5 miles away from school.
Settlements where—country, state, city, or Congress, and paid by whom—perpetrators, employers, US govt.?
gadsden hs closed in 2006 it was located at 607 s 12th
Just sent Moore another $25 and will do so a time or two more before the election.
“They have discovered that...they can shape the government against a State’s wishes and move the government left...if they drop the “bombshells; at the right time.”
Kind of like what they successfully did to move the government right by dropping a PR bomb about more emails on Hillary just before the November election. Neither side has a monopoly on these tricks.
The yearbook is for the class of 1977, so it would have already been in her possession months before it was allegedly signed by Moore in December, 1977.
Still not there yet. No proof as to who did it, and it has not been presented in such a way as to create or attempt to create a tangible benefit to the presenter.
