Why am I not surprised?

Didn't know Danny Masterson was a Scientologist and now an alleged rapist. Sad, I really liked "The Ranch" on Netflix.

Not in this instance however now that you mention it the Catholic Church (not its member) is definitely one of the most corrupt organizations and has been since the beginning of time.

As a former Catholic and now Evangelical Christian who has (in the past) belonged to a mega church I just found your comment to be .... "interesting" for lack of a better word to describe it on my second cup of coffee this morning.

Any church of any size is going to have its own problems. Doesn't matter if it's a church of 100 people or 10,000. The issue here is that it's more "prevalent" in larger churches simply because of volume or # of members and the size of the church's leadership / bureaucracy.
