I guess Bergdahl isn't the only traitor in the Army. When he gets discharged at least one other traitor will still be serving.

Who’s going to hire a dishonorably discharged traitor? Nobody.
He’ll live in his own private hell, and if he has a conscience, he’ll think about the guys that died trying to find/rescue him.
He’ll off himself somewhere down the road.

Justice was not served in this case. Bergdahl should have gotten at least the 12 years the prosecution was asking for. I’d have given him even more.

Is the sentence subject to review by a command authority?
Yes, but only with an eye towards reducing the sentence. The sentence cannot be increased by anyone or anything. Further appeals, review and action by the Convening Authority, or requests for clemency to the Convening Authority can only act to reduce the punishment adjudged.
