Repeal the income tax. Send the states a bill for their apportioned share of the budget. Let the states figure out how they want to pay it.
Ronald Reagan never would have approved this plan because it is a massive tax increase on upper-middle dual income families.
As Mark Levin notes, GOP leadership is now promoting class warfare. No thanks.
Reducing the number of tax brackets is not slashing, and it is not simplification.
Ditching the AMT is good, but will be reported in the media as “tax breaks for the rich.”
This is an interesting exercise, but the chances of substantial changes to the current monstrosity of a tax code are slim. Too many entrenched interests.
And even if it were a wonderful change that benefited everyone, the dems would shoot it down no matter what.
