It seems like Trump would have nothing to lose with this strategy....those who hate him and want to 'get' him can't hate him or be activated against him any more than they already are.

I like it

Seems like a bad idea. Makes the accusations look valid.

Mr. Trump can end this madness by immediately issuing a blanket presidential pardon... to anyone involved with Russian acquisition of an American uranium company during the Obama administration

Hillary Clinton should be pardoned?

I suspect somebody, through the WSJ, is trying to offer Trump a deal.

The answer should be NO!

WSJ would like nothing better than to have an open field in both parties for the 2020 presidential nomination.

This is how you’d do it.

Very bad idea. It would make Trump party to the swamp. Makes me think the WSJ is trying to bait Trump into doing something stupid.

If the Wall Street Journal and National Review want the investigation shut down, it is because they’re worried Mueller might be getting close to indicting their friend Hillary.

Obama’s interference in Israel and the UK should also be investigated.

LOL. You’re dreaming. Mueller is a swamp creature. He will never touch Hillary.

Agreed.

To many folks, a blanket pardon would look like a misuse of the president’s pardon power. And by “folks” here, I don’t mean the hard left. I mean middle-of-the-road people, people who thought for a minute while in the polling booth, then pulled the lever for Trump.

Trump will need those folks again in 2020.

IT’S A TRAP!

Agree. Bad idea. There’s no ‘there there’ with the Russian collusion other than with Obama/Holder/Hillary.

WSJ is trying to protect te Obama administration. They are in Mueller’s sights. Everything is going according to Drain the Swamp plans and strategy. Trump will completely destroy the Obama administration and leave Obama and Clinton universally hated pariahs.

Trump should cooperate, and then shut up and do his job.

No pardons. No get out of jail Bullshit.

It’s time we had a grownup in charge. I did not send him to D.C. To pardon anyone. I sent him to change stuff.

Trump can end this madness by immediately issuing a blanket presidential pardon to anyone involved in supposed collusion with Russia or Russians during the 2016 presidential campaign, to anyone involved with Russian acquisition of an American uranium company during the Obama administration

No way. Why should the Clintons, Holder and the others who sold out America's security get off Scott free? The Rosenberg went to the chair for what the did.

Insanely bad idea. Could he do it? Yes. But it would provoke a constitutional crisis and might cause enough defections in Congress that could end in impeachment.

“It would make Trump party to the swamp.”

Politically charged crimes are....still crimes.

And they should ALL be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Besides, there’s absolutely NOTHING illegal about “colluding” with the Russians on an election campaign, even if it did occur.

Which I doubt.

The Russians didn’t have anything to offer.

I can understand your point of view. However, it would drive home the notion that there are two sets of laws for the well connected and Powerful ... and ... for the rest of us.

That’s already the belief of a great many people in this country. It would be best if something was done to reverse what is now probably a fact.
