Trumps pardon power IS ABSOLUTE!!!!

For federal charges. I don't believe the president can pardon anyone for State charges. Let's see if Mueller has a bag of tricks.

There may be political reasons Trump can't pardon people. But there absolutely zero legal limits to whom he may pardon, what they may be pardoned for, or why they are being pardoned.

That said, a pardon cannot prevent an impeachment or a removal from office. Although a pardon might convince the Congress that a President should be impeached and removed.

But it's a non-issue, because Trump's not going to need to pardon anyone.

“The president cannot pardon people if it’s an effort to obstruct justice, if it’s an effort to prevent Bob Mueller and others from learning about the President’s own conduct.”

Oh, who, pray tell, does the Constitution empower to determine who the President can and can’t pardon?
