And this afternoon, Pres Trump bestows the Medal of Honor on 69-year old retired Army Capt Gary M Rose, for service in the Vietnam War.

Also taking part in the Medal of Honor ceremony for Capt Rose (l.) is Lt. Col Eugene McCarley (r.), commander of the Tailwind mission.

Capt Rose being honored for service as a medic in Operation Tailwind in Sept 1970. His Medal delayed due to covert nature of the mission.
Capt Rose said Friday he considers his Medal of Honor a collective honor for all those who served in Operation Tailwind.

See its very confusing as to the order of the books. I actually really enjoyed reading "Kill Shot" that I missed and Mitch is much older in the books I had been reading. As you say...each book can stand on it's own.

I got side tracked looking for "The Third Option" in a used hardback. Too expensive! Went to Amazon Canada,US and UK. I need the bigger print of a hardback for the days my contacts act up. It hasn't the good ratings as his other books so less people bought the book apparently. I refuse to pay twenty dollars or more for a book. Might have to break down and buy a paperback used.
