The Yankees meet teh Houston Astros in the American League Championship Series, starting Friday night. (The NLCS begins Saturday, featuring the Dodgers against the winner of tomorrow night's Nationals-Cubs game.)

The Yankees have won 4 games so far this postseason, all of them elimination games. That's pretty amazing.

The ALCS should be a good, exciting series.

Baseball. A little more exciting than watching paint dry.

Well, there goes my brackets. I figured the ALCS would be Cleveland taking Boston in 6. As for my Rays, it’s wait’ll next year, as always.

If baseball is too boring for you, you can always get pumped to watch the USA in the World Cup next year. Oh, wait.

Kluber, while terrific pitcher, is not capable of total power domination in the big deciding games, as a Clemens, Randy Johnson, Salzburg, Hendricks, etc., Indians need a power starter to complement Kluber.

They used to have Sabathia, who looked pretty good in that role tonoght. Orlando Hernandez was probably the Yankees best pure playoff pitcher. And don’t forget to put Schilling on your list. His bloody sock won a Massachusetts Senate seat.

Last time a team won 20 games in a row during a season, they also lost to tge Yankees.

American League Division Series presented by Doosan... AL Championship Series presented by Camping World... at Minute Maid Park.

They should go all in and sell naming rights for the players as well.

Let’s hope the Astros don’t end up like Cleveland—red hot in the regular season and ice cold in the playoffs when it matters. 9 strikeouts in 4.1 innings, 15 in the game. What a disaster.

I am with you. I hope the WS ends up Houston and LA.

I have been an Astros fan since the mid 70’s and I have an uncle who has been a Dodgers fan for about that long.

We are already planning our bets.
