I think it’s a stupid process. But let’s not blame McConnel. This has been in place for a long time. Let’s blame Leaders from both parties going back decades. This is a Senate issue, not a party issue.

Senate rules. Imagine if you hired people to work for you and after they started they began to make their own set of work rules.
