Good luck with trying to fire a government parasite. Just look at the VA, you can commit fraud, theft and murder and still your union keeps your job. You can’t fire them thanks to our own stupid government, but you can put them in charge of absolutely noting but a broom closet or transfer them to the arctic circle. Be creative Mr. Secretary!

Government employees do NOT swear to be loyal to the President. Their loyalty oath is to the Constitution.
100% of them work for him.

Having people with loyalties is what got us where we are today. I expect happy government drones keeping their noses to the stone (such as it is) and taking their loyalties to the voting booth. Sadly, those days are long gone.
We went to Mt Rushmore this summer. In the evening, they had a presentation in the amphitheater that stated with a monologue by a few male Park ranger. She started off by welcoming us to the Rocky Mountain National Park and then realized her mistake....she had recently moved to Mt Rushmore from the RMNP. Her talk was about voting in the USA and it began with the proclamation that We, the People, only meant White landowners. She progressed through the various stages of vote granting (we were rolling our eyes by this point) and she came to the 20’s when women got the vote. Crickets from the audience and the Ranger actually said ‘wow, I usually get a big round of applaise from that point’. She was rewarded with an embarrassed, small round of applause. The Obama Doctrine of politicizing EVERYTHING has reached across this country and is in every aspect of our lives. This will not end well.
My wife was in Philly a few years ago for a business trip and she was stunned at the total PC BS spewed at Independence Hall about the hated slave owning founding fathers. The National Park Service is PC to the core and their law enforcement section the rangers are among the biggest horses asses out there with a badge and a gun, total jerk wads.
What I’m surprised about is the people around here who didn’t think the swamp would fight back when Trump said he would drain it.

Read “The Federalist Papers”. “We the people” began the preamble but was changed from “We the people of the States of.....”and enumerated the States to just “We the people” by the Committee on Style headed by the Pennsylvanians. This one shortening of a sentence for brevity created the confusion and misunderstanding about secession and who was involved with the creation of the US. I’ve dealt with the liberal educated and myopic biased members of the NPS for years. There are some good historians but its also infested with government working liberals that hate the South.

Zinke could solve this problem with a massive RIF, and the Interior Department would be able to function BETTER than it has in 20 years!
