My best friend is suffering from this-— tho she never would admit it. (She lives two hours away) She is seeing a therapist and on medication. Thinks it has been her usual “winter time blues”, but this time it is worse and she couldnt shake it. I went on a road trip with her in February and she started talking politics. When she started to sound just like George Stephonapolis, I tuned her out. Have told her in the past that she needs to turn off the TV and get off social media. But she says she needs to stay informed and correct the “ill informed”. I am just patiently waiting.
Dana Milbank would probably feel better about himself if he got a real job instead of one making up stuff.

Doesn’t take much to guess that we’re about where we were last weekend on amnesty, for climate change. A deal may not be quite done, but it is likely in the advanced stages of discussion.
And how much more idiotic could you be to call me a “screaming liberal” for bringing up Trump’s amnesty, openness to a new climate change deal, and aggressively backing McConnell’s lobbyist candidate over an actual conservative running?

The alternative would have been disastrous.
The USA dodged a bullet. Trump was the only candidate running who could have beaten Hillary.

I agree the alternatives would have been horrible.
What an Ivanka presidency might not make sufficient difference, however, IMO.
I pray for Trump to find the strength to send the generals and Democrats and his family out of the business side of the WH—and to reset his presidency before it is too late.

You are the one misstating what Trump and his spokespeople have said:
- re: Paris, there is no new deal, but the WH is open to one.
- re: amnesty, Trump has said he’s close to a deal that will have only “border security”, not wall or even fence funding associated with it—which in practicality means that Ryan is right and the wall will not be built.
