“We (as a nation) dont kill babies and applaud homosexual lifestyles without repercussions.”
Sadly I believe that after Irma it would take the San Andreas and Yellowstone going off followed by Las Palma collapsing/Tsunami before the nation as a whole would think about waking up.
Regarding evacuation on Interstates, I-16 will be westbound only (contraflow, normal eastbound lanes will be dedicated to westbound traffic for coastal evacuation) from Savannah to Dublin starting Saturday at 8AM.

Hey there SNC. Good to hear from you. Stop by the NC board for a visit!
It’s tough going, isn’t it? Harder than I thought, despite all the conventional wisdom telling me about her care. I guess I thought my siblings and I were superhuman. We’re not.
If you want to talk sometime, send a private message so we don’t gum up the thread. I’m happy to share what I can if it will help anyone else.
The Global Warmers are trying to do the impossible. Stop hurricanes like Irma. Good luck with that climate changing objective. Only one thing can stop Irma now.
I was just on I-95 north in the Jax area. Heavy traffic going only 45-60 MPH. Seems the big deluge of evacuees has started.
We prefer Samaritan’s Purse for humans. We’d like to find a way to help the animals but are leary of the mega organizations. They usually have too much overhead and administrators draw large salaries.
>Tommorrows Saturday so I suppose...
Only if it’s Friday somewhere already...;-)
Samaritan’s Purse is where I donate. Not just Franklin Graham (a saint) but the people in the organization, no profiteers just people who want to help
My sister thought their business near Clearwater was zone B, but they were informed today that they needed to evacuate the building today. Their home is in St Pete around 30th. They are still watching everything. Trying to decide whether C’s should evacuate. I guess the bigshots will make that decision by the morning. At least they can come here if the airport remains open.
My guess is that authorities are seeing the wind field expand to hurricane strength across the width of FL and are taking no precautions. Add to the fact the ‘cane is coming from the south.
I think they are trying to truck in food, water, and gas, but that’s just me. It will change soon.
Worse case scenario is that staged helicopter depots will have to be setup to get supplies down to Miami.
I’m in Orlando. Please thank her for us when you next speak with her:)
That’s the way I see it.
Bastardi was just on Hannity and is sticking with his eastern track. He said if the storm comes up the center of the state it loses strength faster but if it goes up the east coast it will maintain its strength by the time it reaches the Carolinas. Seems every time we get an update it is worse than the prior one. I almost have to have a break from this. Maybe start sipping on some joy juice to calm my nerves. lol!
Thanks. I’ll keep you in mind and prayers.
Ahh, I love it when I hear someone talk about science, math, variables, and limitations! You are someone who speaks my language!
I detest the global warming crowd. I detest the very idea of “scientific consensus.” These people make me want to puke, because they aren’t using their brains at all.
Computer models? All I can say is, garbage in = garbage out.
