Did you see the one guy get wiped out? Oh that was just too funny! He didn’t think so though...lololol..he literally rode the wave!
That image looks eerily familiar. Sort of like the "planet killer" machine on Star Trek TOS.

Looks like she’s cranking up again.....
And at the far southwest end of the Keys which has had a mandatory evacuation notice for three days.
On this island, they took a few of the dead bodies recovered out of the trees in ‘35.
I imagine these guys will get up in the upper floor of a building or try to run the bridges.
Wasn't that the Battle Of Leyte Gulf.

Wife & kids just got back from seeing family in Wisconsin and Missouri. They told me there were whole convoys (long ones) of power companies trucks headed south from MN, IA, WI, IL & MO. Also noted that some were not even plated. Also National guard vehicals with large potable water tanks.

If you were scared of the flats you were smart. They can be dangerous. You have to know how to run shallow water. Shallow water navigation is an art form in the Keys.It takes years to really know it.Daytime is hard. Night time is the artful part of learning the flats.
I know.....it’s very interesting seeing it develop and highten as it ramps up! I saw it there, when the water was flat and still pretty much calm to where it began growing and the sky darkening......then speeding up as well. There’s a reason the term ‘the FORCE of nature” is used so often.....it’s jsut so remarkable to see it in action!
Toes in the sand is so true. I am from Georgia but we always came to Florida for a week in the summer always wanted to live here...
Saw some of your posts.
Looking good for you!
Permit and bonefish have to be chased — wherever they may be.
They’ll be in more trouble than they imagined to be sure........When the wind crashes through their building and rips it apart they’ll know what it means to.. “Run!.... If they live through it.............
