I can’t envision why anyone would come crying to you?

And I don’t see the connection .....
Don’t you think the chance of gope not uniting behind an originalist nominee is more likely; given their current track record?

Raising the debt ceiling for 18 months would have taken the pressure off of the GOP leadership to produce results.

It was rather smart of Trump to force them to deal with it in December, the worst time of all for a shut down. It’ll be a real nightmare for spineless politicians like Ryan and Mitch to hear how people will suffer during Christmas because they couldn’t produce results (when in full control of the government).

Trump plays hardball, he’s willing to shut it down come Christmas if he doesn’t have his tax cut.

Yes,Yes, and Yes McConnell could have given RINOS the ability to get the votes anytime he wanted. There are even Dems that will have to cross over to get re-elected.

I agree...and also: (sorry this might be long)

Our President has not failed us one time...he has kept his promises to us, the media, the GOPe, the Libs would have you believe he has done NOTHING, well folks I'm here to tell you THAT IS B.S.!!!

I have NEVER seen a President that has been so DISREPECTED AND TREATED AS DISGUSTINGLY as Our President had, and is...

Today, during a Tax speech to the American People, the media decided not to show it...A SITTING PRESIDENT WASN'T GIVEN THE TIME OR ATTENTION TO SHOW A SPEECH that is vital to the American People and America...

This man has done NOTHING BUT WORK HIS BUTT OFF to Make This Country Great Again...he is fighting the Republicans, Media, Congress, Department Heads, Foreign Countries and who is on his side? WE TRUMP SUPPORTERS THAT'S WHO!!!

And if you think you seen how hard we fought to get him as Our President, you haven't seen anything yet as for us Trump Supporters to keep him THERE!!!

He is fighting a big flood in Texas, another one coming into Florida and do you think anyone but the people that support him and those that had the chance to meet him gave a crap about what he is going through??? Not in this life time...

He has gotten help for Our Veterans, got coal mining jobs, wanted healthcare for the people because he can see how bad we, the ‘little people’ are hurting with this DNC HEALTHCARE THAT ALL DEMS AND OBAMA PASSED!!!

He has a war going on with North Korea, he's fighting for us to keep ISIS out and kill them all, thank you from the bottom of my heart Sir, and here are these ‘EVIL, VILE, DISGUSTING, DELECTS THAT THINK THEY KNOW EVERYTHING’ fighting him day in and day out...

Go ahead and clap and cheer along with the rest of the ‘pearl grabbers and sofa fainter's’ and fall flat on your face because:

‘TRUMP SUPPORTERS AND PRESIDENT TRUMP IS NOT GOING TO GIVE AN INCH ON MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!’

The Democrats won’t fulfill Trump’s promises, but they can be used as leverage against the traitorous scum who control the Congress. I am beyond sick of hearing how the poor little Republicans can’t do anything because they only have simple majorities and the Presidency. It doesn’t get any better than this.

The Democrats may stand against every single thing that Trump ran on, but it is the vile Republicans who have derailed his agenda. Since the Republicans have proven they can’t lead, it’s only reasonable that Trump finds ways to work around all of them.

And to hell with your GOP “little e.” The “e” stands for everyone in the GOP at this point.

Lot had better odds finding ten good men in Sodom than Trump has in Washington.

Very well said.

It is hard to see the President treated with such disrespect.

I hope his working with the Dem’s will be a wakeup call for the GOP but I honestly doubt it.

Short, but the best commentary I’ve seen.

It should be noted that Mitch/Ryan had planned an 18 month debt extension despite conservative opposition. So conservatives came out better under this- they get another bite at the apple.

This deal encourages the RINOs to give the conservatives something. We’ll just have to see if it, or anything, can accomplish that.

The interests of Trump and the Democrats might occasionally intersect, but they will be rare occasions if Trump sticks with the policy positions that won the election for him. Maybe the duration of the next continuing resolution is such a case.

Let’s hope so. I’m neither a never-Trumper nor an always-Trumper, but I believe him to be a man trying to do his best for the country. Congress (both aisles) is the opposite.

Let’s keep it real. It’s Disney, Comcast, Viacom, and AT&T that’s disrespecting the Presidency and the citizens.

Ill be honest Ryan wanted 18 month extension giving no reform whatsoever. that is basically a wast of Donald Trump’s single best tool to get stuff done.

The Democrats offered a mere 3 month. I still think its a bad deal ether way.

A government shut down is what we need, to force the RINO’s and democrats into giving us some lasting reforms. But Ryan’s plan would have crippled the President until the republicans lost the house and probably the senate in 2018 as a result.

Not that long ago we were asked where does the Republican Party go from here? They can go to blazes. The d’rats lost this vote over 30 years ago. The pubbies only held it due DJT. Now, they’ve lost it as well. IF our President forms a new party, then we might be able to once again ‘talk business’. Until then...
NO MORE; NO LONGER!

“Trump is with the voters, not the small base of donors that the GOPE has been kowtowing to forever.”

Google is the biggest lobbyist today, and they are far left extremist. Spending big time to try and keep the house and senate crippled and doing everything they can to garrentee that republicans will walk away from them in 2018.

Its almost like the House members got together and came up with a list of things to do to help them lose reelection and made that their agenda.
1: Betray your voters and proven you can’t be trusted on anything. On Obamacare.
2: Enforce Democratic policy agenda items like dreamers.
3: Race dept ceiling for nothing.
