Senate is beneath him. He’s an executive type. Maybe he wants Pence’s job. Set him up for something big.
The only proper response is to say little or nothing about the Democrat spy ring. If he starts running off at the mouth it could jeopardize a guilty conviction.
Some people around here are clueless as to how things work. They can run off at the mouth all they want but don’t project it to others just because you would like to.
It does not matter what the people or the voters want, the important issue is that the GOP House members elect him to this thankless job. You can’t find a good alternative, no one wants the job.
It is a fantasy that he can be defeated for re-election. He was overwhelmingly re-elected in 16.

Short true story: I was in Scottsdale in January, in the checkout of a grocery store, wearing a Packer sweatshirt when a nice couple behind me asked if we indeed were from Wisconsin. When we said YES... he very slowly said “Thank You for Saving our Nation”. Stunned and thanked him, telling him my MAGA hat was at the condo!
