Great idea.

What could possibly go wrong?

How long before they force people to take in the homeless without paying them for the “privilege”?

“How long before they force people to take in the homeless without paying them for the “privilege”?”

They did something like that in Europe to house the rapefugees...

#20: "How can they pay homeowners to house the homeless"

A voucher against property taxes? In which case LA can raise property taxes to force homeowners to take homeless … or else.

All I can think about right now is the "William F. Buckley Jr. Rule" - vote for the most conservative candidate who can win.

Therfore, anyone who said Trump couldn't win is automatically disqualified from a credible assessment of Moore's chances.

Offical LA County motto:

“Give me your mental cases, the poachers,
your drugged masses yearning to live free”

“Last I read/heard the City of Los Angeles is broke. How can they pay homeowners to house the homeless?”

According to the article they’re talking about a program of only $550,000, which, for LA county with over 10 million people, is less than pocket change. That’s round off error territory.

According to their projected cost per housing unit, that’s going to build housing for TEN “homeless”, out of a supposed homeless population of 55,000!! It’s so insignificant as to be laughed out of town.

I think Beverly Hills would be a perfect place for a program like this. But since there won’t be many volunteers, it should be made mandatory.

$550,000 is just about enough to pay 2 LA janitors for a year.

Unlike a guest house, second dwellings include kitchens.

Huh, who knew?

Well...Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher both died and left Beverly Hills compounds .How many homeless could live there? Think Fishers daughter would welcome a dozen or so? Why not???

Good plan, but The last person I want living in my mother in law unit is my actual mother in law!

And once they start to trash your property, sell dope from your “guest” house, and break into your house to steal property, you will not have any way to get rid of them because of eviction laws ...

Haha that is what I was gonna say. Have your daughter/son register somewhere as homeless and get a free small house built for them.
