The draft report by scientists from 13 federal agencies,...

Was this done on the tax payers dime or on thier own using thier government credentials for personal gain?

The scientific thing to do is to submit everything to peer review.
Peer review how it was chosen which data to collect.
Peer review the data, the standardization of the data.
Peer review the pre-suppositions on which analysis is based.
Peer review the analysis of the data.
Peer review everything.
Frankly, neither you nor I, nor anyone pro or agnostic or anti the conclusions knows if the conclusions are valid or not until it is thoroughly reviewed.

We are having the most cool summer ever. Hardly a temp over 70. Nights are extra blankets..

Can hardly get out on a lake and certainly not taking a dog paddleboarding when it is this cold.

As usual the NYT is full of crap.

First week of August, and we Hoosiers were running heaters and wearing our flannel shirts.

Exactly.

What is really coming is the ice age they predicted in the 70's.

Long sleeved shirts are back in Michigan this August.

Anyone who has spent time on Anthony Watts’ wattsupwiththat.com, the most widely followed climate science website around, will know that Katherine Hayhoe is a leftist, climate-alarmist loon.

A couple of years ago, Maine and other New England states had their coldest winter in recorded history.

I don’t believe the Earth is warming. For a minute, let’s say that it is.....how do these liberals expect to control the sun?

If it “hasn’t been made public” yet, then why does the NY Slimes have a copy of it? This is total B.S.

Indeed. These “scientist” are advocating outside the terms of their employment. That is easily corrected.

Hope they can spell “McDonalds”.

Where is the part that tells us how to fix it?

The United States has already lowered “Greenhouse Gas” Emissions for decades without the Paris Climate Accord.

[One government scientist who worked on the report, Katharine Hayhoe, a professor of political science at Texas Tech University]

No agenda there.

Five Ws. The Five W’s, Five Ws and One H, 5W1H, or Six Ws are questions whose answers are considered basic in information gathering or problem solving. They are often mentioned in journalism (cf. news style), research, and police investigations.
