Hmmmm. Isn't there a name we're familiar with that heads up the Calibfornia University system? Napolo--- something. Anyway, wonder what sort of bonus this assclown will get. Good to be the king huh? Nice example doc. POS. I bet some folks are glad they entrusted 'precious' to their guidance 'under' this program.

What a waste of a gifted surgeon. He should have joined the Himalayan Cataract Project and put his gift to better use.

I stand corrected in that janet is not involved in this scandal and that usc is indeed private. So, his bonus would be even bigger? ;-)

Once upon a time doctors were a respected profession. But now we have abortion, assisted suicide, and transgender mutilation. And let's not forget butt injections, vagina "enhancement", freak show plastic surgery, nipple enhancements, etc.
A significant portion of the medical profession is not involved in anything remotely "life saving".

Big deal, he had sex and partied. He also helped a lot of people. Didn’t hurt anyone.

One would think that a 66 year old physician would know that smoking crack might not be very good for his ticker!
To: rktman
In the State of New York it's possible for physicians to have his license to practice suspended or revoked for many, many reasons. One reason is having been convicted of drunk driving *anywhere* in the country. This makes sense to me for several reasons, one being "if he's willing to *drive* drunk might he be willing to *operate* drunk?"
IMO the same goes for crack, coke, grass, etc.

It sounds like he broke up with her after her overdose and now she is getting revenge.

Of course, date rape drugs he gave the woman never hurt anyone. Meth and other drugs that he shared with others never hurt anyone.
Surely you forgot to note /s in your post.

"if he's willing to *drive* drunk might he be willing to *operate* drunk?"When I was taking classes at Med School in St Louis in the mid-late 70s you would not believe what students and MDs were up to!
Only a small percentage of them...but still :-/
Some nurses put on a sad show as well...
And the nearby school of pharmacy lent a few rascals for the party as well.

If we cut all government subsidies to these unnecessary procedures, the savings could help keep Medicare afloat past its probable bankruptcy in 2030.

Not only that but when you are under the influence and have no scruples, how do we know that he did not screw up surgeries. My guess is he did,but the word did not get out. The lawsuits will now commence for anyone injured, especially now that they know what a wayward clown he has been.
