Like not allowing Crazy Bernie supporters and other Democrats to buy guns? Frankly I would, but I don't think it would cut the Constitutional mustard.
“Common Sense Gun Control” is an undefined meme meant to mean whatever the far left and their sycophants in the media want it to mean. “Infringe,” however is a real word that gov’t does not define.
And yet, I don't recall a single court ever addressing it.
Nothing in the Constitution is binding except numbers; two senators, sole power, every second year, etc. Thus sayeth the courts.
70 Billion dollars of insurance bailout is pretty left to me.
Constitutional issues aside, the problem with so-called “common sense” gun laws is that the people pushing for them don’t have any common sense.
$70 Billion is a drop in the bucket if it rids us of Obamacare...which, I know, is a big IF.
Common sense gun control means no guns for politicians, bodyguards, the glitterati, lawyers, amd judges. Anything else and they can shove it.

We saw a considerable amount of legislation from the pen of our ghey former chief executive usurper, and now his minions in black robes are making laws almost daily.
Maybe someone should read their job descriptions to them from the Constitution.
Who cares? He doesn’t get a vote in matters of law. The office of FBI Director has been beclowned by the last occupant, so doubt that this guy’s opinions matter.
Too bad Trump hasn’t nominated me for anything yet.. I definitely support common sense gun laws!
- Quadruple CMP funding (and then some)
- As long as the FedGov is sticking its nose into Education, might as well have federal funds for shooting clubs in schools
- Since everybody is required to purchase ‘insurance’, everyone is also required to own a shotgun and 50 shells to match. (No need for a powder horn or anything.)
- Issue out some letters of marque for Somali pirates (and probably some others)
- Require all ships heading into international waters to maintain some form of defensive measures. .50cal on each side, minimum.
- I’m sure I can think of some more after my coffee’s done steeping.
