President Trump needs to add Jarrett to his legal team.
He’s right up there with Jay Sekulow.
Disappointed in Napolitano recently, however.

BTW, the mere fact that Mueller was/is Comey’s mentor should automatically disqualify Mueller.
It’s a shame that President Trump has been and continues to be so undermined by his own Justice Department. I am extremely appalled by Jeff Sessions’ betrayals
Moreover, how did Rosenstein wind up as the deputy AG???
The entire DOJ ought to be DRAINED ASAP!!! Should have been ordered on day one!!!

It absolutely is a political witch hunt.

I don’t know how the Rats can keep a straight face continuing to keep their act going, it’s laughable and criminal.

I lay all of this charade of an investigation and political witch hunt at the feet of the Attorney General, Jeff Sessions.

He should have already fired McCabe and reminded Rosenstein what the Code of Federal Regulations has to say regarding a special counsel having a conflict of interest when they are investigating a personal friend, and then fired him too.

Between the conflict of interest and the leaking from those associated with the special counsel to the media, there is no reason on God’s green earth the AG should not IMMEDIATELY shut down the Deep State’s attempt to destroy the president of the United States

Yes, the President could end it, BUT the proper channel is for the AG to do it. And why Jeff sessions has not done it is inexplicable to me.

One of the first things the Rats did last week at hearing was get Sessions on the record to say he wouldn’t get rid of Mueller. I wonder why?

Every Republican in Congress should be demanding Mueller’s recusal. Trump can’t make any serious demand without their support, and they know it. Weasels.

And why in the hell is McCabe still the acting FBI head? It’s well known he’s a Rat who wants to destroy Trump. Why didn’t Trump name an interim?

>>If Mueller has any integrity at all which I think he has he’ll resign.<<

That would appear to be the case given the law and the relationship between the two men.

That said, his failure to resign, even by now, is an indication that he has a higher purpose than maintaining his integrity.

Remember, a lot of conservatives are so down on Trump that they absolutely want him out of power. lt seems to me highly likely that Mueller feels the same way now that he’s failing to resign his post after it’s clear that Comey is one of the illegal leakers. Mueller’s higher calling might be getting Trump out of power, and he might consider any hit to his perceived integrity to be a small price to pay to achieve that. He might even believe he’d be saving the world.

Sessions needs to un-recuse himself and reassume control of the department that he was confirmed to oversee.

I’ve been asking the same question. McCabe could very well be one of the leakers.

I don’t know what has happened to Jeff Sessions, but this would not be happening if Rudy Giuliani was AG.

No, it’s the AG who fires the special counsel...

28 CFR 600.7:

“The Special Counsel may be disciplined or removed from office only by the personal action of the Attorney General. The Attorney General may remove a Special Counsel for misconduct, dereliction of duty, incapacity, conflict of interest, or for other good cause, including violation of Departmental policies. The Attorney General shall inform the Special Counsel in writing of the specific reason for his or her removal.”

Sadly, you may well be right.

There are more than a few establishment Republicans that would love to see President Trump gone.

This is not Sessions’ fault. Although it’s the AG (or AAG) that would appoint or remove a special counselor, neither action would be taken without the POTUS wanting it done.

It was the White House, not the Justice Departnent that made the decision for the AAG to appoint Mueller in the first place.

No doubt, the White House felt at the time that doing so would help stiffle the MSM/Dem free-for-all in which, following Comey’s firing, new accusations, charges, calls for impeachment, calls for a special prosecutor were dominating the news cycle multiple times daily.

The appointment did quell things and allowed the White House a reprieve “while Mueller does his job”.

The fact that Mueller’s objectivity has now been tainted by Comey’s testimony may cause the White House to reconsider and direct the AG (or AAG) to remove him.

However, the White House still must weigh the political risk of leaving him in place vs the original concerns that caused them to appoint him in the first place.

Either way, it’s a tough call and the Justice Department will be doing the President’s bidding. Don’t blame Sessions - he’s there to carry out the POTUS’s wishes and I’m sure he’s doing just that.

To be cleared of obstruction of justice, one has to be investigated for obstruction of justice. The more Bolshie donors in the investigation, the less likely a not true bill is not accepted. However, a contrary verdict would be subject to the recusal of Mueller.

Do you have a link on that or is an article up on the subject?

I see the regulations, but I don’t think that it really serves anyone to force out Mueller.

Better to appoint a special prosecutor to look at Mueller and whatever papers he sign to take the job, call Comey to testify about his relationship with Mueller. If it can be shown that Mueller perjured himself or somehow obstructed justice by taking a position he knew or should have know he didn’t qualify for, try him for a felony and look to lift his government pension.

In fact, if Mueller were to submit a letter of resignation at this point, after he stirred the pot so much and hired so many questionable individuals, President Trump should refuse it and insist he stay on.
