What say ye, Professor Laz?
Guilty, or not guilty?
P.S. I know you would Leigh this winner...
I was 25 years old and had a top secret clearance as a contractor with Hughes Aircraft Co. for the department of defense. It is not the age of the person it is the vetting of their background and qualifications, and the responsibility most importantly is on the holder of the information making it visible to the least amount human contact need to know and ability to track access and contact to the data. Access logs to buildings, safes, computers, terminals, printers, etc...When this is coordinated and done properly you can determine who leaked information by the limited access as was done in this case.
I’m so glad hiring processes are more mainstream!!
That’s very stylish. /Harry Callahan
I think a number of states suggested that the NSA hacked their election headquarters. I think it was SC or Georgia.
Anyone recall this?
It’s a brave, new world...
So, any 25 year old can get a job at the NSA? Hopefully there are some standards in determining who can work at the NSA.
Question #2: Are you a Male?
I would guess that some small publishers might have been, but the government just 'sucks it up' on the more damaging leaks. Makes sense, the damage is the leak, a conviction won't deter big publishers, and a trial has the effect of spreading the secret even wider, and risking disclosure or educated guessing of related information.
TAKING BETS HERE!
Interesting background.
No journalist yet.
Frankly, there are a lot of ‘kids’ with top secret clearances, and have been for a long time.
They were just better vetted, and were expected to be mature and pro-American.
IIRC pretty much anyone who serves in or repairs an American submarine has one.
I've had a TS since younger than 25. I've had a Secret since I was 17 (yes, 17). [I was a communications maintenance person -- we ALL had clearances and depending upon assignment the clearance was either S or TS and many of us were read into SCI]
There are a lot of people in the military who, by their AFSC/MOS/Rate, by itself, are going to hold TS or SCI clearances. There are a whole lot of people who, by their duty assignments, are going to hold TS clearances.
Do you think special operations people should be only 26+? How about crypto maintenance? How about nuclear weapons maintenance? How about aircraft maintenance on B-2's? How about missileers? and so on and so forth.
Maybe she hasn’t heard the one about Walker and his son?
(they both should have been shot, after waterboarding them for their contacts)
Bout damn time!
10 years? That’s it?
If she’s guilty of selling out her country you give her 2 options, a bullet to the dome or a good old fashioned hanging.
I’m sick as all hell of these losers selling out top secret info for ANY reason.
I just wanna know if she’s an
A) Obama supporter
or
B) a Hillary supporter
of course if it’s A or B, then it’s A AND B.
Georgia, for certain. They blocked the hack, but the attempt was made on more than one occasion and came from the feds. Can't remember if it was NSA or FEC or who, but it was federal.
I think that there was going to be an attempt to find enough names and establish votes in those names to throw the state to Clinton. That's just my speculation.
We’re well into the baseball season. Is Hilliary in the on-deck circle?
Winner is a Loser.
