Idiotic is idiotic. The comment was idiotic, and 25 YO is not a "kid". (Pajamaboys and pajamagirls notwithstanding. They can be any age.) A 25 YO who insists on acting like a "kid" will face the consequences of his silliness.

BTW, do you agree with the idea (repeatedly expressed on this thread) that female humans are inherently unfit for handling classified information?

Actually, we agree. She may have been mature enough to serve in the USAF. However, wherever she received her indoctrination, she did not have a “mature” thought process.

I raised three daughters and all of them wanted to “make a difference’ in the world. They also had a conservative, logical, Christian, loyal to the Constitution and the USA upbringing as their foundation. There was no blurring of lines in my parenting. Occasionally, that led them to run afoul of liberal indoctrinating professors in philosophy and ethics classes.

Mature, hardworking, and making a difference where they can when they can and I have no problem with that. They would be horrified at the thought of betraying their country. At any age.

Sorry, I really love civil discourse and throwing “idiotic” down is a rather incendiary. I don’t think we disagree.

However, as a society, we have allowed “kid” status to extend far beyond the level that has been historic. There are some extraordinarily immature young adults out there who are at such risk of being swayed the wrong direction.

I saw this trend developing before I retired from HR/Recruiting. What was coming in was increasingly disturbing.

To answer your question regarding females handling classified information, read my post 202. I’d trust any one of my three daughters handle classified info in a heartbeat. :)
