I thought Levin would part of the Deep State from what I’ve heard him say about Trump.

His ratings must need a boost.

Never Trump is from the Cruz Crew. I hate every one of them. They gave the blue print to the Deep State Obama/Clinton/Soros cabal.

I thought Mark was way off base during the campaign but he has finally seen the light and has come around. Good for him as we need all hands on deck to defeat the establishment.

So we need a kinder, gentler conservatism where massive, corrupt NGOs, all fat with government contract money, usher in a “new world order”? Where we are led to impoverishment and slavery by people who make fabulous wealth by betraying us?

As far as I'm concerned anyone who are fans of the Bush dynasty can sod off.

Polite enough for you?

“If Levin got his way, he’d now be complaining about how the media is trying to take out Jeb.”

Like hell. If Levin had gotten his way, we’d be filling out visas to try to emigrate.

Not a fan at all of the Bushes, either. Sorry I wasted your time, and mine.

I like Mark, but his belief the convention of states is a solution to the sclerotic corrupt mess in Washington is ludicrous.

Why would these apes in government pay any more attention to the amendments to the constitution set by the COS than to the original?

Delusional. We are toast.

How country club Republican of you! Showing true fidelity to noblesse oblige by acting with generosity and nobility toward those less privileged.

I am going to bet that you like to lose gracefully and often while pocketing a lot of spare change for yourself.

Noblesse oblige - a French phrase literally meaning “nobility obligates”. It denotes the concept that nobility extends beyond mere entitlements and requires the person who holds such status to fulfill social responsibilities, particularly in leadership roles. The Dictionnaire de l’Académie française defines it thus: Whoever claims to be noble must conduct himself nobly. One must act in a fashion that conforms to one’s position and with the reputation that one has earned.

OMG! Stop.

This fake conservatism has been years blood choking on “civility”. These purveyors of that crap are EXACTLY why we find ourselves at risk today of losing our country to radically Marxist/communists quite willing to take over our nation if polite RINOs will agree to courtesy and appeasement.

These creeps of politeness are crawling over the US Senate and the House, leading the R Party into that appeasement with the Soros crowd who are entrenched on both sides of the aisle.

Some of these types who prefer to stay sanguine on Trump need to be avoided at fox hole time.

I’m with you. The PRIMARY reason that Trump is having so much trouble is because the election was super-close. And the PRIMARY reason it was super-close was because of the NeverTrumpers peeling off a large part of what should have been Republican base voters.

If the NeverTrumpers NeverExisted, Trump likely would have won the popular vote, along with several more states - and with that, claims like “Russia hacked the Election” and “Trump is Illegitimate” would have been easily laughed off.

And it’s for that reason that this Texan will vote against Cruz in the Primary and very possibly vote against Cruz int he General Election. Either Cruz learns to support the kind of president that put GORSUCH on the Supreme Court, or I’d rather see a Democrat in that seat.

Lets start finding a middle ground here :

We don’t like Levin not because he dissented - it’s because of how he dissented. During the run-up to president, we had a bunch of republicans. Each of these people found supporters.

But a nevertrumper is the worst. They not only didn’t like your love of Trump, they hated you for it. And that’s not right.

Nevertrumpers are the cancer on the body of conservatism.

Levin was NOT a JEB fan.

Actually irrelevant since my comment above was a tongue in cheek joke. What is relevant is that Levin was, for months on end, a frothing at the mouth spittle-flicking Trump hater, and his credibility about anything Trump related is shot.

And it was a nasty primary yet in the end who did he vote for? Who does he both lavish in praise when he gets it right and rightfully holds his feet to the fire when he steers of course?

Yes Levin....this awfully coined NeverTrumper phrase is a slogan and one that makes our side look bad like worshippers. A neverTrumper is someone who still to this day blasts the man because the individual forgot the primary was over.

That person is not Levin
