"...Personally, I would have been dead..."
Same here. I am sure a couple of things I've encountered (and have essentially forgotten) could have killed me a century ago.
Got my wisdom teeth removed, for example.
If one got an infection (especially that near the heart / brain) that could easily have been fatal. It is a non-issue for us in contemporary times.

If my entire healthy and reasonably long lifespan could have occured prior to cellphones, social media, and the internet...I would be fine with that scenario, too. Simpler times.

Last year, I went to an exhibit showing what life was like in 1875. I feel very fortunate that I did not live during that time. 1916 wasn’t much better.

If my entire healthy and reasonably long lifespan could have occured prior to cellphones... Cell phones...a net plus in my life.Perhaps not in *everyone's* life though.
...social media...
Agree...absolutely worthless,silly,juvenile,self indulgent.
...and the internet...
Internet=mixed bag,IMO.Noteworthy benefits plus *very* noteworthy harm to society.
I would be fine with that scenario, too. Simpler times.
There are many things from my earlier days that I miss enormously...many of which belong under the heading of "simpler".
