Very fascinating, except for the global warming plug.
What does he suggest we do instead, stop global commerce?
Despite the tonnage, shipping by boat is very economical, otherwise we could not get fruits and toys from the other side of the planet as cheaply as we do.
Very good example of economy of scale.
